ABOUT ME
My name is Petra Ellenbroek, I am 40 years old, and I help people with their personal development and leadership, drawing on a unique background in the arts.
My journey began in 2008 when I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Dance at the Academy of Arts. I then completed a Master of Music at the Conservatory. My career did not start in the corporate world but in the creative sector.
In 2010, I started my own business as a vocal coach, working with various choirs and pre-conservatory training programs. That same year, I experienced a burnout, which prompted me to travel and embark on a journey of personal growth. My travels to places such as Malaysia, Scotland, and Jordan were transformative and sparked my passion for personal development.
As I became more self-aware, I found myself getting closer to the essence of who I truly am. In 2016, I reached a turning point in my career. While I wasn’t ready to fully transition into coaching, I decided to deepen my skills as a vocal coach by completing a performance and teaching program at the Universal Voice Institute in Amsterdam.
Over the years, my work began to shift toward a more holistic approach. I integrated coaching into my vocal lessons, which not only resonated well with my clients but also reignited my own passion for coaching. In 2022, I decided to take the next step and enrolled in the Professional Coach Training Program for Personal Development and Leadership at the Coach Center in The Hague. I successfully completed the program.
Today, I work as a professional coach specializing in personal development and leadership, as well as a vocal coach. Outside of my work, I am a proud mother to Benjamin (6 years old) and Oliver (1 year old).
